Coin Strike
Coin Strike is one of those games I opened once to test and then kept playing on the tram. The idea is simple: you flick coins across a board and try to land them in scoring zones or knock other pieces out of the way. Controls are pure touch — drag back, aim, release. That's it, and it feels great because the physics are consistent.
What surprised me is how much depth grew out of that one gesture. Later boards add bumpers, moving slots and tight corners, so you start planning bank shots instead of just aiming straight. The difficulty ramps kindly; I never felt the game was cheating me. Everything runs fully offline, and it's tiny on storage.
It's not a game you finish and forget in one sitting — it's a pocket game, five minutes at a time. The presentation is clean, the sound of a good hit is satisfying, and there's a calm satisfaction to clearing a tricky layout on the last coin.
